GDA DanRe, a key operational subsidiary of Danish Renewable and GDA Green Energy, today announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Georgian Government to explore the feasibility of a 30 MW wind farm site. This pivotal step marks a significant milestone in the expansion of renewable energy initiatives in Georgia and reinforces Danish Renewable's commitment to sustainable energy projects across the globe.

Under this agreement, GDA DanRe will conduct a comprehensive feasibility study to evaluate the potential of constructing a wind farm. The site exploration aims to assess various environmental, technical, and socio-economic factors to ensure the project's viability and alignment with both local and international sustainability standards.

Danish Renewable, a Denmark-based developer of renewable energy, brings its extensive expertise and innovative approach to this project. A portfolio that spans between Scandinavia, eastern Europe and South Africa allows the developer to pursue its mission of acquiring and applying knowledge from areas where innovation is most advanced and making it reach areas where it is most needed.

Equipped with this philosophy and their broad experience with diverse types of renewable energy projects, Danish Renewable is excited to support Georgia's transition to sustainable energy sources.

"We are immensely pleased to collaborate with the Georgian Government on this pioneering project," said Esben Christensen, CEO of Danish Renewable. "This memorandum is not just about exploring a new site; it's about forging a path towards a greener future. We are excited to bring our expertise and experience in renewable energy to Georgia and are confident that this venture will contribute significantly to the country's sustainable development goals."

This feasibility study is an important step in GDA DanRe's and Danish Renewable's journey toward contributing to a more sustainable world.
