In the first half of 2025, GEL 126.3 million was transferred to the state budget through the privatization of state property, according to the National Agency for State Property. This figure exceeds the planned amount by 136.13% for the first two quarters.
The privatization plan for Q2 alone was GEL 92.8 million, while the annual plan has been fulfilled by 59.3%.
From January to June, the agency announced 463 electronic auctions, resulting in the sale of 261 real estate properties. Alongside real estate, the agency also sold movable assets worth GEL 6.2 million.
The agency emphasized the fully electronic and transparent auction process, which eliminates bureaucratic delays and makes participation easier for private individuals and businesses.
It also reiterated its commitment to the accelerated privatization program, aiming to actively engage the private sector by offering a variety of assets for purchase.
