In Tbilisi’s Vake district, the park and two sports fields near Vazha-Pshavela III Quarter, buildings 10–15, will be renovated at a total cost of approximately GEL 1,427,000, the city hall announced.
The project covers about 5,000 sq.m. and includes refurbishing recreational areas, football and basketball courts. Soft surfaces will be installed on the courts, fences will be renewed, and appropriate sports equipment added.
The park will feature two children’s playgrounds with soft flooring and various attractions, two fitness zones, and two covered pavilions with tables and benches.
Additional upgrades include three types of park benches, including swing benches, irrigation and lighting systems, new grass, and the planting of trees and other greenery across the park.
