The position of Minister of Sports of Georgia is held by Shalva Gogoladze, who previously served as Deputy Minister of Sports and Culture. In October 2024, Gogoladze’s company, "Raymonds", purchased the Likani Sanatorium in Borjom, covering an area of 288,000 square meters for 16.2 million GEL. In February 2025, the property was sold to a company owned by former Sports Minister Tariel Khechikashvili.

According to Gogoladze’s asset declaration, he owns a 15,179 sq.m. land plot in the village of Tsinubani, Tbilisi, which he acquired for 447,000 GEL. His wife, Tamar Pirtskhalava, owns an apartment on University Street and a land plot in Tkhinvala, with both properties purchased for a total of 84,640 USD. Their children, Anna and Guram Gogoladze, received a 145.41 sq.m. apartment in Bagebi as a gift.

The minister owns two high-end Toyota Land Cruiser models – the 200 and 300 series – purchased in 2022 and 2023 for 55,000 USD and 65,000 USD, respectively. He also owns a Yamaha Grand Prix, valued at 10,000 USD.

Gogoladze keeps 350,000 GEL in cash savings and has approximately 1,000 GEL in his bank accounts.

According to the declaration, Gogoladze has been actively involved in entrepreneurial activities in recent years. As of December 2024, he had transferred shares in several companies:

  • Green Star Energy LLC – 22% share transferred to David Onikadze
  • Road Construction 23 LLC – 50% share also transferred to Onikadze
  • Toreli LLC – 40% share transferred to Onikadze

Charm LLC, Raymond LLC, Kaulin Georgia LLC – shares transferred to his wife, Tamar Pirtskhalava, for management.

It is also notable that Gogoladze held a 45% stake in Ice Arena, which was likewise transferred to his wife for management.

In 2023, Gogoladze received a salary of 83,343 GEL from Arena LLC, along with 5,127 GEL from the International Fund for Sport, Tourism and Youth. He has several large loans in his name: two car loans (valued at 155,932 GEL and 144,107 GEL) and a consumer loan amounting to 31,733 EUR.
