The Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, says that according to the Corruption Perceptions Index, Georgia is above nine EU member states and all candidate countries.
According to him, Georgia is also among the five European countries according to anti-corruption performance.
“Georgia ranks 41st globally, enters top 20 in Europe for first time in CPI2022. Ranks similar to the Czech Republic, Italy and Slovenia, above 9 EU and all EU candidate countries. Among top 5 European countries in improved anti-corruption performance”, Shlava Papuashvili tweeted.
