Georgia and Armenia Have Strong E-Commerce Potential - Onex

ამანათები

Logistics company Onex says it plans to simplify and accelerate parcel deliveries between Georgia and Armenia, aiming to support the growing volume of online trade between the two countries.

Speaking to BMG, Onex CEO Misha Stepaniani said Georgia has significant export potential in Armenia, particularly in auto parts, while Armenian-made products such as textiles and footwear could also find buyers in Georgia. He noted that the two markets share similar consumer preferences, creating favorable conditions for e-commerce growth.

According to Stepaniani, Onex has operated in Armenia for more than 10 years and plans to deliver shipments between the two countries within 3–4 days, covering the entire process from collection to final delivery.

Despite the potential, bilateral trade has recently declined. Georgia exported nearly $553 million worth of goods to Armenia in 2025, down from $617.7 million in 2024, while imports from Armenia totaled $237.5 million.
