Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili described the meeting with European Council President Charles Michel as “productive.”
Echoing the meeting on Twitter, the PM said: “We continue strengthening our relations. Georgia is committed to finalizing 12 recommendations and deserves candidate status this year. Together Georgia and the EU will promote peace, democracy and economic growth in the region,” he tweeted.
Georgia’s integration into European structures and fulfilment of the EC’s 12-point recommendation were the main topics for discussion at the meeting in Brussels.
