A group of international investment consultants, on a working visit to Georgia on Wednesday as part of the USAID Economy Security Programme, have praised it as the “best country worldwide, with huge investment potential”.
The visiting professionals are hosted by Enterprise Georgia - a state initiative for promoting entrepreneurship - in a bid to establish the country’s investment potential. Loren Moss, one of the 13 consultants, described Georgia as an “ideal gateway between Central Europe and Asia”.
"I am in Georgia for the first time and the main purpose of my visit is to find out about the country's investment prospects. I want to tell you that I am surprised - this is the best place in the world, it is an ideal gateway between Central Europe and Asia”, Moss said.
The consultants will visit Georgia’s eastern and western regions of Kakheti and Kutaisi, where they will meet representatives of various agencies and organisations, receive information and discuss investment opportunities in a number of industries.
