Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili declares that the government has very positive expectations for the rapid, safe and sustainable development of the tourism industry.

As Mariam Kvrivishvili notes, the Coordination Council decided to open the land borders, which will contribute to the rapid and safe recovery of the tourism sector.

The National Tourism Administration, co-sponsored by USAID with the American online platform Steller and the Georgian travel company Caucasus Travel, is implementing the project Digital Days in Georgia. 18 influencers and bloggers are visiting Georgia from May 26 to June 4. It is noteworthy that the photo-video material created during the tour will be published on the platform Steller, as well as on social media (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Youtube).

As part of the project, an event was held in Chateau Mukhrani, during which representatives and influencers of the Steller platform conducted a master class on creating high-quality photo-video material (content).

“We are hosting world-class bloggers in cooperation with the USAID, which will help raise the awareness of our country. Georgia is one of the first countries to open its borders amid the pandemic. Of course, we have positive expectations, we plan to continue to work closely with the private sector in our industry,” said the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.
