Georgia plans to buy the rocket-propelled grenade launchers (RPG) in cooperation with the US, according to Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze.
In his speech within the framework of the Minister's Hour format, the minister focused on the efforts made to enhance the Defence Forces' potential. ''For this purpose, we plan to purchase more RPG in cooperation with the US,'' the minister said.
Georgia first purchased the Javelin anti-tank missile system from the United States in 2018.
The Department of Defense paid $ 75 million for 72 FGM-148 Javelin launchers and 410 missiles.
