Georgia ranks 41st out of 136 countries in 2016 Global Enabling Trade index (ETI) as measured by World Economic Forum. According to G&T, Georgia leads the group in most of the ETI pillars, ranking 15th for market access, 39th for border administration and 33rd for operating environment. Despite significant investments and improvements in the past several years, Georgia’s infrastructure appears to be a bottleneck to trade, where Georgia ranks 73th.
