The Palestinian Islamist group Hamas launched the biggest attack on Israel in years on Saturday. Here are some reactions of Georgian officials:
"I strongly condemn terrible terrorists attack on the state of Israel and Israeli citizens, the loss of lives, and serious injuries to many. Heartfelt condolences to the Government and People of the State of Israel, wishing speedy recovery to all those injured," Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili wrote on twitter.
"Deeply concerned with the recent escalation in Israel and the loss of innocent human lives," Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili said, adding that "Georgia stands in full solidarity with the State of Israel in these difficult moments. Terror and inhumanity should have no place in our modern world."
"Unjustified, brutal, and inhumane aggression against the State of Israel will not stand. Georgian people support brotherly Israel. There should be no place for such violence in the world," Shalva Papuashvili, Georgian Parliament Speaker said.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia said they "strongly condemn the horrific terrorist attack on the State of Israel, causing loss of life and express solidarity with the Israeli government and people. Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the victims of this terrible attack. We wish a speedy recovery to all those injured."
