Foreign money transfers to Georgia reached $348.3 million in June 2026, up by 10.4% year-on-year, according to the National Bank of Georgia. Compared with June 2025, remittance inflows increased by $32.8 million.
The United States remained the largest source of remittances, sending $66.2 million, followed by Italy with $54.2 million and Russia with $51.4 million. Transfers from Russia increased by 25.1% year-on-year, making it one of the fastest-growing major sources.
Among the top sending countries, the strongest growth was recorded from Turkey (+35.1%), Russia (+25.1%), and Israel (+22.4%). Kyrgyzstan was the only country in the top 10 where remittances declined, falling by 22.5%.
Meanwhile, money transfers from Georgia abroad totaled $39.8 million in June, an increase of 16% compared with the same period last year.
