Galt&Taggart published Monthly Economic Review. According to the document, tourism revenues increased by 5.2% y/y to US$ 550.0mn in Aug-23.
Galt&Taggart reports, that overall, tourism revenues reached US$ 2.9bn (+34.7% y/y) in 8M23.
"We expect tourism revenues at US$ 4.2bn in 2023", - Galt&Taggart noted.
In 2022, Georgia received a record income of more than USD 3.5 billion from international travelers to Georgia, which is USD 300 million more than in 2019 before the pandemic.
