Georgia reported 2 635 coronavirus cases, 2 244 recoveries and 49 deaths on Friday, said Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Head of the Task Force of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council, at a press briefing at the Government Administration.
Georgian capital Tbilisi reported the highest number of 1 134 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 388 cases, and the Adjara region with 230 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 204 003, among them 171 526 people recovered and 2 002 died.
There are 468 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6 680 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 2 183 are being treated at Covid Hotels.
