Georgia reported 23 664 coronavirus cases, 8 326 recoveries, and 42 deaths on Thursday, show the official figures from Stopcov.ge.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 11 543 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 3 413 cases, and the Adjara region with 2 334 cases.
A total of 77 584 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 47 972 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 29 612 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 30, 05%, while 24, 27 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 250 108, among them 1 038 391people recovered and 15 102 died.
There are 37 people quarantined, 5 723 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 969 asymptomatic and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of February 3, 2 736 590 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 5 411 in a day.
