According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 85,191 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 61,936 antigen tests and 23,255 PCR tests.
As a result of the testing, 24,201 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 1,200,124.
As of January 31, the daily positive rate is 28.41%, for the last 14 days - 21.96% and for 7 days - 24.96%.
In the last 24 hours, 10,732 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,020,510.
In the last 24 hours, 36 coronavirus deaths were reported. A total of 15,016 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 24 201 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 11,800 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 2,204, Imereti - 3,134, Kvemo Kartli - 1,199, Shida Kartli - 1,461, Guria - 473, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 1,628, Kakheti - 1,059, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 683, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 471, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 89.
The number of active cases amounts to 164,572.
