Georgia reported 4 762 coronavirus cases, 3 953 recoveries, and 43 deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 523 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 933 cases, and the Kakheti region with 658 cases.
A total of 48 090 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 35 647 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 12 443 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 9,9 %, while 9,05 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 698 944 among them 639 564 people recovered and 9 831 died.
There are 51 people quarantined, 6 186 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 975 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of October 26, 1 955 943 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 4 927 in a day.
