Georgia reported 5 553 coronavirus cases, 4 223 recoveries, and 47 deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 794 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 1 189 cases, and the Kakheti region with 657 cases.
A total of 48 901 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 36 630 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 12 271 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 11,36 %, while 9,02 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 726 941 among them 669 822 people recovered and 10 136 died.
There are 33 people quarantined, 6 493 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 103 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of November 2, 1 982 593 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 3 369 in a day.
