Georgia reported 867 coronavirus cases, 1,877 recoveries, and 30 deaths on October 4, the official figures show.
16,066 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 9,770 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 6,296 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 5,4%, while 4,94% in the past seven days.
Georgian capital of Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 264 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Kakheti region with 154 cases, and the Imereti region with 143 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 618,620, among them, 591,668 people recovered and 9,068 died.
There are 31 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 4,133 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 601 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
Currently, out of 962 critical patients, 255 require mechanical ventilation.
As of today, 1,818,258 people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 4,124 in a day.
