Organized by the Gastronomic Association Of Georgia, Georgian chefs and representatives of the gastronomic community will participate in the most prestigious international gastronomic exhibition “Sirha 2021” in France with the support of the National Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
In France, the gastronomic competition “Bocuse-d’Or” (87 contestants from 21 countries will compete in the final competition) and simultaneously, the grand exhibition “Sirha” will be held on September 23-27.
Georgia will be presented at the World Gastronomic Exhibition with a stand inspired by the concept of clay pans. The production of clay pots, pottery, and clay pans in Georgia is confirmed by ancient artifacts.
Georgia’s participation in the international gastronomic exhibition contributes to the popularization of Georgian gastronomic culture, raising awareness of gastro tourism, agritourism, and ecotourism. Tens of thousands of visitors will have the opportunity to become acquainted with Georgian products at the exhibition.
In 2019, Georgia officially became a member of the Bocus d’or family, and the project “Georgia – The Art of Feast” – was launched, in the framework of which Georgia was presented at the international exhibition “Sirha 2019”.
