Georgia will chair Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers from November 27 to May 15, 2020. The official ceremony will be held in Strasburg on November 27. Georgian Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani will pay a visit to Strasbourg for that purpose.
The Foreign Ministry will hold a press conference tomorrow, November 26. Extensive information on Georgia's priorities will be disseminated during the Council of Europe Presidency on November 26 and a video address by Minister David Zalkaliani should be published as well.
“It should be noted, that this is the first case, when Georgia will take over the chairmanship of Council of Europe’s (CoE) Committee of Ministers for a six-month term and over 20 events will be organized within the frame of European Council”, - Ministry of foreign Affairs declares.
