The Georgian National Tourism Administration plans to spend approximately €1.8 million promoting the country in the Middle Eastern market. According to documents published in the public procurement system, the total budget for 2026–2027 is €1,829,000 (including VAT), with €826,000 allocated for 2026 and €1,003,000 for 2027.

The campaign targets strategic and growing tourist markets such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE, aiming to increase Georgia’s visibility and attract high-spending visitors. Activities will include digital marketing on platforms like Google, Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat, TV advertisements, printed and online articles, press tours, and roadshows in eight cities. The campaign will also feature B2B meetings, workshops, webinars, and informational presentations for tourism sector representatives.

The administration emphasizes that the campaign will boost awareness of Georgia as a tourist destination in the Middle East and is expected to stimulate visitor growth. Due to the campaign’s scale, services will be procured through a simplified procurement process rather than an electronic tender, to avoid delays.

Tourism statistics show that in 2025, 136,824 visitors arrived from these countries, generating $213 million in revenue. The campaign is scheduled to run from March 2026 to December 2027, aiming to expand Georgia’s presence and appeal among affluent tourists in the region.
