Georgia-based childcare platform My Nanny, which connects parents and babysitters, expanded and entered Ukrainian market a month ago.
Nino Dvalidze, co-founder of My Nanny explains the purpose of creating the platform. She notes that the goal of the platform is to solve the existing challenges in the field, the shortage of nannies and the problems related to reliability.
According to her, Ukraine has a similar problem and that is why they gave preference to this country. However, My Nanny will be available in the UK and other European countries in the future.
According to the co-founder of the platform, My Nanny unites 10,000 parents and over 500 nannies, who have passed all tests successfully. Nino Dvalidze notes, that among them are students who have the opportunity to adjust the work schedule.
"Trust is one of the main pillars of our platform. Each nanny must pass an interview with a psychologist, submit police criminal records, a letter of reference and the ID card, ”said Nino Dvalidze.
My Nanny was founded 5 months ago. It has 3 co-founders. At the initial stage, GITA funded the project with 100,000 GEL. Also, the acceleration program of 500 Startups helped to develop the platform.
