In the period from January 1 to June 30, 2024, some of the parliamentary parties received a total of 2,839,895 GEL in donations.
In particular, according to the information posted on the website of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Georgia, in the first six months of this year, Georgian Dream received the most donations, 1,403,706 GEL. Among the donors are Tamaz Tamazashvili, who donated 10 thousand GEL to the party, the Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, who donated 12,000 GEL to the party, and the Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality, Badri Nanetashvili, who donated 50,426 GEL to Georgian Dream.
Lelo for Georgia received a donation of 910,490 GEL in 6 months of 2024. Among the donors are party founders Badri Japaridze and Mamuka Khazaradze, each of whom donated 60,000 GEL to the party.
As for the United National Movement donation, the party received 464,402 GEL in the same period. The secretary general of the National Movement Petre Tsiskarishvili is among the donors, who transferred 58,300 GEL to the party as a result of several transactions.
As for the For Georgia party, it received 50,997 GEL donations in 6 months of this year. Among the donors are: Berdia Sichinava and Ana Buchukuri.
The parliamentary opposition party European Socialists received a donation of 10,300 GEL in the same period.
According to the information posted on the website of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Georgia, in the first 6 months of 2024, two parliamentary parties, Citizens and Strategy Builders, did not receive any donations.
