Georgian handmade bags and accessories brand “Cosmo” is closing 2025 with significant achievements and ambitious plans for the coming year. As the brand’s founder, Sopho Mukhulishvili, told BM.GE, 2025 was a standout year during which the company expanded into new markets and introduced notable product innovations.
According to her, Cosmo added a silver jewelry line, launching new collections now available across all its retail locations.
“2025 was an exceptional year for Cosmo. We began entering new markets, participated in exhibitions in China and the United States, and secured a new partner in the U.S.,” Mukhulishvili said.
She added that cooperation with their Chinese partner also advanced to a new stage. Cosmo has been partnering with the company for two years, and a dedicated Cosmo corner has now been opened inside the partner’s store in Shanghai.
In 2025, the brand expanded its physical presence as well, opening four new locations, bringing the total number of Cosmo stores to 12.
Looking ahead, Mukhulishvili revealed the brand’s major plan for 2026: opening an open studio in Tbilisi. She emphasized that this will be a continuation of Cosmo’s unique project, which has already been successfully operating for two years in Batumi.
“We will soon open our open studio in Tbilisi. This is our unique concept—Batumi’s studio has been running successfully for two years, and we expect similar engagement in Tbilisi. The space has been renovated, and we are ready to welcome our first visitors. We plan to hold the opening ceremony in January,” she noted.
Cosmo currently offers around 70 handmade products, ranging from bags to accessories. The brand actively operates in both the local and international markets, including global platforms such as Etsy. The Cosmo team now consists of over 80 employees, marking steady growth for the Georgian company.
