Georgian Health Minister Zurab Azarashvili on Thursday met with U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Robin Dunnigan discussing the U.S. support for Georgia’s EU integration path and its contribution to the development of the healthcare system.
According to the MOH press office, Zurab Azarashvili introduced Robin Dunnigan to the ministry’s ongoing reforms.
“They also talked about the prevention and detection of infectious diseases in the country. On top of that, the minister provided detailed information to the ambassador about the financing of the medical services for the people living in the occupied territories of Georgia,” reads the statement.
