The special state management regime at Georgia’s largest ferroalloy producer, Georgian Manganese, which has been in effect since 2017, has been extended for another 4 years until April 11, 2029.
The extract from the business register was updated on May 8.
However, the court ruling has not yet been found in open sources.
According to the court ruling, the special manager is instructed to submit a monthly report on the fulfillment of environmental obligations to the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
"Georgian Manganese" is one of the largest miners and the largest producer of ferroalloys in Georgia. The company combines several main facilities, including the Zestaponi Ferroalloy Plant, which produces the company’s final products, ferromanganese. The group includes the Chiatura Mining and Processing Plant and the Vartsikhe Hydroelectric Power Plant, the energy generated by which is used to extract and manufacture products.
