Georgian metal-plastic doors and windows will be sold in Canada. Zurab Giorgadze, the founder of company LGG, told BMGTV.
According to him, LGG's products are also exported to Azerbaijan, Ukraine, a small number should be exported to Germany, and they are working on finding other markets.
"We brought windows to Canada - we have achieved that. Canada has one such advantage, when a customer installs energy-efficient windows, you get a cashback of 10 to 15%, and the window must have this certification that our window meets those standards.
Because of this, experts came to us in the summer, they inspected our enterprise, checked every detail and we passed the first stage of certification. The second stage was an inspection of the prepared sample. Samples have been sent, received by the Bureau of Standards and we meet the requirements. They had very high requirements: if the tornado destroys the building, the window must remain. We had to produce such quality products for the Canadians", Giorgadze said, adding that their contractor company builds buildings, so it should receive two containers of doors and windows from the Georgian company per month.
"Canada is very interesting for us, because the more difficult the project is, the more it fascinates us", said Giorgadze.
