A new Georgian sweets boutique, “Haneria,” is set to open its doors on Abashidze Street in Tbilisi this November. The shop will specialize in Georgian nougat made from honey and other honey-based delicacies, introducing a fresh concept to the local confectionery scene.
The project is being developed by Gvantsa Delidi in partnership with her sister, David Aleksidze. As Delidi told BM.GE, “Haneria” will stand out for its “honey concept,” as every product offered in the store will be derived from or related to honey.
“The store will have a honey-based concept, everything will be connected to honey and Georgian nougat. We are collaborating with AgriApp, a company that collects honey from various regions of Georgia, tests it in laboratories, and provides branded batches. We will use this honey under the Haneria brand,” explained Delidi.
Beyond offering its own signature products, Haneria also aims to support Georgian small-scale producers. According to Delidi, the store will serve as a platform for local artisans who make premium honey-based sweets.
“We want our space to become a platform for both emerging and established Georgian producers who work with honey. For example, we’ll collaborate with Natia Kurshubadze’s Fusfusi, whose gozinaki is known for its outstanding quality,” she noted.
While the total investment amount has not yet been finalized, the shop plans to employ two to three people.
“We’re determined to open in November, it’s very important for me and my partner. Hopefully, everything will go according to plan, and we’ll be able to welcome customers to a warm and inviting space with new, high-quality products,” Delidi added.
