Partnership Fund of Georgia has established the company called “ Natural Products of Georgia” in Belarus and plans to open the first store in Minsk.
Deputy Executive Director of the Partnership Fund, Giorgi Khelaia stated that Georgia was granted the right to export wine and alcoholic products. According to Partnership Fund, the Government of Belarus has dedicated a specific spot in the center of Minsk for the promotion of natural products of Georgia, which will be called “Georgian Trade House”. This happened as a result of the negotiations of the Government of Georgian and the Partnership Fund.
The museum of national wine agency, as well as the winery and vinothek will be located in the “Georgian Trade House”. Natural products produced in Georgia will be presented here such as different types of Georgian wine, mineral waters, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
In addition to that, Partnership Fund is preparing for the official visit to Belarus together with PM Mamuka Bakhtadzze. The visit should take place in May-June 2019. With the easier procurement announced by Partnership Fund, “Natural Products of Georgia” will spend 600 000 USD for this event.
Partnership Fund established the company in Belarus in March 2018.
