Within the framework of the OSCE Council Ministerial, the Vice Prime Minister of Georgia/ Minister of Foreign Affairs, David Zalkaliani met with the Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Michael Linhart.
The Ministers noted with satisfaction the increasingly higher level of relations between Georgia and Austria, as evidenced by the Georgian President’s visit to the Republic of Austria, giving a new impetus to further strengthening relations between the two countries in various directions.
The sides highlighted the great potential for the development of economic cooperation, the exchange of relevant business delegations and the establishment of contacts, as well as the importance of Austrian companies and Austrian investments already existing in Georgia.
David Zalkaliani thanked his colleague for the financial assistance provided to Georgia within the framework of the Austrian Development Fund. The Georgian side also expressed gratitude for Austria’s strong support of Georgia's sovereignty in various international formats.
