JSC "Georgian Railway" has announced a tender for the procurement of steel-reinforced concrete sleepers, with an estimated value exceeding GEL 32 million. According to the tender, the winning company must ensure the delivery of sleepers within 24 months.
As of the technical document, companies that meet the qualification requirements can participate in the tender. Applicants must submit the necessary documentation, including quality certificates for production and recommendations from at least two railway companies. Additionally, the submission of a bank guarantee is mandatory.
Within the tender framework, a total of 124,000 sleepers are planned to be purchased, consequently, the estimated cost of one sleeper is GEL 259. Companies will be able to participate in the tender until March 13.
