Spice manufacturer Waime Spices is expanding its chain in Europe and opens a branch in Poland, specifically in Krakow, - the company's founder, Giorgi Gogia, spoke to BM.GE about this.
According to him, the store in Poland should be opened in August-September, where the full range of spices will be presented. In addition, there will also be a micro-enterprise in the space, which will simplify logistical processes.
As for the investment required to open the store, the company's founder refrains from naming a specific amount at this stage.
"The store will be added to us in August-September. It is decided by 100%. The Krakow branch will present our full range of products. A micro-enterprise will also be organized in the space, which will simplify our work in terms of logistics," Gogia said.
According to him, they planned to open an online store in Hungary, but at this stage the project has been paused due to high import costs. The launch of a branch in Krakow will help both simplify the supply chain and strengthen our position in the EU market.
“We have temporarily suspended plans in Hungary, but the Krakow branch will significantly improve the logistics of the region and allow us to provide deliveries in Hungary as well. About four people will be employed in this facility,” Gogia added.
As for the local market, the company is looking for a new facility, but there is no news in this direction yet. The company is only represented at the “Bazar Orbeliani”, which Gogia notes is increasingly developing.
The spice company Waime Spices has been operating in Georgia since 2017.
