The Georgian National Tourism Administration has signed a EUR 295,000 contract with Travelscape, a subsidiary of the global travel platform Expedia Group.
According to documentation published on the website of the State Procurement Agency, the company will carry out a comprehensive marketing campaign promoting Georgia as a travel destination. The agreement includes a variety of promotional activities, such as distributing video and photo content on social media platforms and placing banner advertisements in media outlets. The campaign will target three key markets: the United Kingdom, the United States, and Germany. The contract was signed on June 4 and remains in effect through December 31, 2025.
This is not the only major international partnership the Tourism Administration has undertaken this year. It has also signed contracts worth several hundred thousand lari with British Airways and Swiss airline Edelweiss.
A one-year agreement with Edelweiss, part of the Lufthansa Group, allocates EUR 118,000 for marketing initiatives - EUR 100,000 of which is directly funded by the Tourism Administration. These efforts aim to boost tourist flows from Switzerland and strengthen Georgia’s visibility in European markets.
Additionally, the Administration is paying GBP 88,500 to British Airways, which began operating four weekly flights from Tbilisi earlier this year. Both airlines were newly added to the Georgian aviation market in 2025.
