Georgia’s Biggest Export Product Ratings

During the 11 months of 2018, Georgia’s exports came to 3 billion USD, which compared to the same period in 2017 marks a 24% increase. With regards to imports, there has been 16% growth reaching $8.3 billion. As a result, Georgia’s negative trade balance came to $5.2 billion. During this period, Georgia's biggest export materials were copper ores and copper concentrates. In total, $461 million worth of copper ores were exported, which compared to 2017 is an increase by 21%. In second place with $356 million is re- exportation of cars. The top ten biggest export products are:

Copper Ores - $461, growth compared to the previous year: 21%;
Exports of cars (re-export) - $ 356 million, growth compared to the previous year: 80%
Ferro-alloys - $ 318 million, growth compared to the previous year: 12%
Wine - $ 178 million, growth compared to the previous year: 15%
Tobacco products - $ 133 million, growth compared to the previous year: 348%
Medications - $ 131 million, growth compared to the previous year: 2.9%;
Spirits - $ 119 million, growth compared to the previous year: 9.9%
Mineral waters - $ 100 million, growth compared to the previous year: 15%
Nitrogen fertilizers - $ 85 million, growth compared to the previous year: 19.6%;
Gold - $ 65 million, growth compared to the previous year: 1.5%
