Georgia’s Construction Materials Market Hits $5.9bn As “Nova” Posts Steady Growth

Georgia’s construction and repair materials sector continues to grow, reaching $5.9 billion in revenue last year, according to Galt & Taggart. Of this, the repair materials segment alone accounts for $2.5 billion, with further growth expected in 2026.

The sector expanded by 9.6% between 2018 and 2025, and is projected to grow by 7.8% this year, while the repair materials market is expected to increase by 10.4%.

“Nova” CEO Edisher Khimshiashvili said the company has maintained 12–15% annual growth over the past five years, with a 10% increase recorded in the first quarter of 2026. He noted that growth is driven by business expansion, including increased production, network development, and exports, rather than price hikes.

Despite strong performance, regional tensions pose risks. The suspension of metal exports from Iran and rising fuel costs are expected to increase prices and create supply challenges in the market.
