Georgia's Foreign Trade Turnover Reaches $15.5 Billion in January–July 2026

In January–July 2026, Georgia's external merchandise trade turnover reached $15.517 billion USD, representing a 7.5% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.

Of this total, exports accounted for $4.668 billion USD, marking a 21.6% growth. Imports grew by 2.4% to $10.849 billion USD. The negative trade balance stood at $6.180 billion USD in January–July 2026, comprising 39.8% of total external trade turnover.

​According to express statistical data, in July alone, exports surged by 29.7% to reach $792 million USD, while imports rose by 5.8% to $1.703 billion USD.
