In the first nine months of 2025, Georgia’s hazelnut exports totaled USD 84.4 million, marking a 50% increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to Geostat.
The data also show that the average exporting price of hazelnuts rose to USD 7.8 per kilogram, reflecting an annual increase of almost 22%.
Hazelnuts from Georgia are primarily exported to European Union countries. The main export destination is Italy, which purchased hazelnuts worth USD 16 million. Spain ranks second with USD 12 million, followed by Germany with USD 6.4 million, France with nearly USD 6 million, and Turkey with USD 3.4 million.
