Georgia’s Pension Fund reported that its assets increased by GEL 300 million last month, reaching over GEL 8.5 billion as of January 31, 2026.
The majority of the funds, GEL 8.4 billion, are invested in a conservative portfolio, while GEL 100 million is allocated to dynamic and balanced investment portfolios. Overall, the system covers 1.5 million participants, with an average individual savings of GEL 5,600.
According to the monthly report, 27,643 people benefited from funded pensions in January, receiving a total of GEL 129.5 million in payouts. Generated returns for the fund have now reached GEL 2.4 billion, reflecting steady growth and the ongoing accumulation of pension assets.
