Georgia’s tourism sector is experiencing a strong peak season, with hotel occupancy rates reaching 90–95%, according to Giorgi Dolidze, founder of HSC Group Hospitality.

Dolidze told BMG that demand has increased compared to last year, pushing hotel prices up by around 5% in the mid-range segment and about 10% in higher-end hotels. He expects strong occupancy levels to continue through October.

He also noted growing market diversification, with rising visitor numbers from Europe, particularly the UK and Scandinavia, alongside increased interest from Asia and the United States.

Despite a slowdown in March, Dolidze expects both tourism revenue and visitor arrivals in 2026 to exceed last year's levels by 5–7%.
