Georgia's Tourism Revenue From Israel Up By 74%

According to official statistics, Georgia's tourism revenue from Israel is growing rapidly.

According to the National Bank of Georgia, tourism revenue from Israel increased by 73.7% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 114.2 million USD.

During the same period, the number of visits made by international visitors from Israel increased by 72.9% and amounted to 80,896.

In addition, in January-March, a relatively high percentage increase was recorded from Azerbaijan - 19.8% and from Saudi Arabia - 12.3%.

In total, Georgia received 826 million USD in tourism revenue in the first quarter, which was 2.3% more than in the same period of the previous year.

Tourism revenues are distributed as follows:

Russia - 141.8 million USD /decrease 17.2%;
Israel - 114.2 million USD/increase 73.7%;
Turkey - 107.1 million USD/decrease 8.8%;
European Union - 103.2 million USD/decrease 4.8%;
Azerbaijan - 48.6 million USD/increase 19.8%;
Ukraine - 33.7 million USD/increase 2%;
Armenia - 28.2 million USD/decrease 10%;
Iran - 27.2 million USD/decrease 8%;
Belarus - 15.9 million USD/decrease 3.8%;
Saudi Arabia - 8.7 million USD/increase 12.3%;
Other countries - 197.4 million USD/6% increase.
