Wholesale and retail chain GG House will open its sixth branch in Tbilisi’s Didi Digomi district on September 19. The new store, located on Demetre Tavdadebuli Street, will be the largest branch in the company’s network, covering approximately 1,200 sq. m.
According to Gocha Pukhashvili, co-founder and director of GG House, the new branch represents an investment of GEL 1.5 million and will offer up to 25,000 product lines, including household chemicals, hygiene products, tableware and electronics. The company also plans to introduce several new brands and eventually increase the range to around 30,000 products.
Pukhashvili said the decision to open in Didi Digomi was driven by strong demand from local residents. The new branch will initially employ 35-40 people, bringing the company’s total workforce to around 250. He added that staff numbers are also being increased in response to growing demand across the business.
GG House’s expansion plans extend beyond the new Didi Digomi location. The company is already considering several additional branches, with Saburtalo among the potential locations. Pukhashvili said future openings will be based on customer demand, while some of the locations are being kept confidential for now.
