Visitor numbers at Gino Aqua Park have nearly doubled compared to last year, according to Gino Holding’s managing partner Nodar Giorgadze. He said the summer season is expected to open in mid-May, with outdoor pools becoming available.
Growth has been strong since October, with monthly attendance up 70–80% year-on-year and some months reaching increases of up to 120%. For example, months that previously saw around 10,000 visitors now attract 20,000–22,000. Birthday events and the wellness-spa center remain key drivers of demand.
Giorgadze noted that the increase is mainly driven by local visitors, crediting improved management, better service, enhanced cleanliness, and upgraded food offerings. He also pointed to clean air in the Tbilisi Sea area as a possible contributing factor.
Despite rising utility costs, the company will keep prices unchanged this year. Giorgadze said the focus is on accessibility for customers, adding that new features will be introduced during the season, though details have not yet been disclosed.
