Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kobulia held a meeting with the IFC (International Financial Corporation) South Caucasus Regional Manager, Jan van Bilsen.
FIC ongoing and planned activities and projects in Georgia were discussed at the meeting. The FIC Regional Manager stressed on the Corporation’s priorities in terms of financing certain private sectors in the country. The Indentation to expand cooperation in the PPP format was also highlighted during the meeting.
Upon completion of the meeting, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kobulia gave the positive evaluation of the IFC activities in Georgia and confirm the Georgian Government decision to continue cooperation with the IFC in the future.
Deputy Ministers of Economy and Sustainable Development, Natia Turnava, Ekaterine Mikabadze and Nino Enukidze also attended the meeting.
