Glovo co-founder Sasha Mishu, visiting Tbilisi for the tenth time, highlighted the company’s role in supporting local businesses and adapting to changing consumer expectations. Operating in over 1,800 cities worldwide, Glovo has more than 3,000 active partners in Georgia, with 90% being small businesses.
Mishu emphasized Glovo’s “Next” platform, which focuses on personalized experiences, fast delivery, and accessibility, allowing local retailers and restaurants to reach customers efficiently. The platform also ensures reliable earnings for couriers through optimized delivery management.
He noted that Glovo helps local businesses embrace digitalization, enabling faster delivery in urban areas and facilitating on-demand commerce, a sector he expects to grow rapidly.
Glovo’s strategy in Georgia combines urban expansion, local partnerships, and support for startups through initiatives like Tech Catalyst, aiming to strengthen the country’s digital economy while maintaining high service standards and community engagement.
