Supermarket Goodwill sales returned to pre-pandemic levels in 2021, while companies’ revenues were up by 25% in 2021 compared to 2020.
According to Giorgi Khabashvili, General Director of Goodwill, one of the largest retail chains in Georgia sells a large number of products through online sales applications. He notes that the app assisted the company much amid pandemic and they plan its development for the future.
"There is still a lot to be done to have the profit margin we want. However, we did not suffer a loss in 2020. We will have positive rates in 2021 as well.
The company has done much this year in order to have more revenue in 2022. For example, we have opened new supermarket chains under the name "Goodwill Gourmet", which will open in 2022, and this is an additional income for the company.
As for the specific numbers, we will talk about it more actively after the end of the year. " - noted Giorgi Khabashvili.
Goodwill operates in the market from 2004.
