“Gotsiridze Winery” is preparing to enter international markets, with the company expecting to ship its first exporting batch this year. Founder Andro Gotsiridze told BM.GE that negotiations are underway with several markets, including Germany, the United States, and countries in Eastern Europe.

The winery’s current annual production is around 5,000 bottles, with roughly 2,000 bottles earmarked for initial export.

"In Germany, our wine is already sold through the '8000 Vintages' network, and we are now working on entering the U.S. market. Georgian wine is gradually gaining popularity there, and it’s important for us to offer high-quality, organically produced products," Gotsiridze said.

Due to limited production volumes, the company is strategically focusing on smaller, stable, and promising markets rather than large ones like China or Russia. Poland and other Eastern European countries are seen as particularly interesting for high-quality Georgian wines.

Reflecting on 2025, Gotsiridze noted favorable climate conditions, particularly for white grape varieties, and fewer challenges compared to previous years. He emphasized that reduced disease pressure supports organic winemaking: "Fewer diseases meant less intervention in the vineyards, which is crucial for our biological approach, as we avoid heavy chemicals."

Domestically, “Gotsiridze Winery” distributes mainly through specialized wine stores such as “8000 Vintages,” “Wine Gallery,” and select wine restaurants.
