GD government has again increased the amount allocated for disaster relief measures by 6.1 million GEL to 64.1 million GEL this time, and expanded the list of municipalities.
Various amounts have been allocated for disaster relief measures for 37 municipalities. The largest amount, 6.1 million GEL, is intended for Signaghi, and the smallest amount, 60 thousand GEL, is for Tsageri municipality.
Different amounts of money have been allocated for Zugdidi, Kharagauli, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Akhaltsikhe, Sagarejo, Borjomi, Akhmeta, Senaki, Khoni, Bagdati, Gori, Tianeti, Terjola, Tsalenjikha, Kaspi, Lanchkhuti, Ozurgeti, Lentekhi, Marneuli, Lagodekhi. For the municipalities of Kvareli, Chokhatauri, Vani, Martvili, Chkhorotsku, Tsageri, Kutaisi, Tetritskaro, Ambrolauri, Sachkhere, Khashuri, Zestaponi, Telavi, Adigeni, Dedoplistskaro, Gardabani.
On March 12, 2025, by the decree signed by GD Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, an amendment was made to the decree No. 186 on January 30, 2025. By the end of January, the government had allocated 6,400,000 GEL from the fund for projects to be implemented in the regions for the liquidation of natural disasters for only 8 municipalities.
