Four subsidized charter flights were appointed to attend the Georgia vs. Spain match to be held on June 30 in Cologne, Germany. Flight tickets are available at tkt.ge. One-way tickets will cost EUR 195. The Union of Georgian Airports will monitor the sales and registration of passengers.
According to Irakli Karkashadze, Director General of the Union of Georgian Airports, Georgian Wings and Georgian Airways will implement the flights.
“First, I congratulate our team on our historic victory at EURO 2024 and qualifying for 1/8 finals. We have to continue writing history now with the Spanish team. For this, as many fans as possible should gather at the Cologne Stadium.
At the instruction of the Georgian government, the Union of Georgian Airports immediately launched work on the appointment of charter flights as soon as our team defeated Portugal and won the ticket for the playoffs,” he said.
Karkashadze further noted that the subsidized charter flights will be implemented on June 29, 30, and July 2. He recommended passengers show up at the Tbilisi Airport three hours before take off with passports and tickets for the match.
The Union of Georgian Airports organized over 40 subsidized charter flights for Georgian football fans to attend the UEFA EURO 2024 matches in Germany.
